Luca Wallis

Luca is an undergraduate physics student at Durham university, doing a placement year between his 2nd and 3rd year. He’s currently working on shock injection for laser wakefield acceleration as part of the Gemini group. This involves generating stable shocks in gas jets and characterising their density profile. He also does some lab work in the Gemini Target Areas.

Research Interests: Gas jets for laser wakefield acceleration
